Crowns (Cerec)
Do you have a broken tooth? Perhaps one or more of your teeth are affected by discolouration or decay? Are you hiding your smile, because you feel embarrassed to show your teeth?
Services
A possible solution may include restoring your teeth using a dental crown.
What is a Dental Crown?
According to our Montreal dentists, a Dental Crown is a tooth-shaped “cap” that is cemented over and covers the entire visible portion of the tooth. Dental crowns are normally used to improve a tooth’s appearance and restore its shape, size and strength.
Dental crowns can also be used to cover a dental implant that replaces a missing tooth.
Dental crowns are made of nontoxic materials. They can be made entirely of ceramic, all resin, porcelain fused to metal or all metal. They are made to look
like and feel like your regular teeth.
It is important to note that a dental crown will not stop a decaying tooth from further decay. It will simply enhance its appearance.
